The opening keynote will feature a presentation by Usama Fayyad, a pioneer in predictive analytics. Fayyad’s address will provide insight into the evolving market of advanced analytics and how companies will need to prepare for the expansion and complexity of big data in the years ahead. Fayyad is currently chief data officer and group managing director at Barclays Bank and chairman at Oasis500. Previously, Fayyad has served as chairman and CTO at ChoozOn Corporation (Blue Kangaroo), founded Open Insights LLC and was Yahoo’s chief data officer. He co-founded the DMX Group and Audience Science (digiMine, Inc.) and led data mining and exploration at Microsoft Research. He also worked at NASA.

The Call for Speakers will close at 5 PM EDT on July 18th, 2014.
We're no longer accepting submissions for RapidMiner World speakers at this time.
Innovative research of predicative analytics, big data and data mining.
Proposals should be submitted in PDF format up to 12 pages. Please use this TeX-Template for your papers (preferred). Alternatively, although less preferred, you can also create your paper for submission with other text processing solutions like Word or OpenOffice Writer. In this case, please use our Microsoft Word template. The result should look similar to the result of the TeX-File and have a page size of 17cm x 24cm. Authors of accepted proposals present their work in a talk at the conference, and, if appropriate, by demonstrating a live system. The conference proceedings will be published as book which can be regularly ordered in bookstores.
